More and more details about intimidation, vote buying and attacks on the members of election commission are being discovered in Kosovo, Deutsche Welle released. The residents of Glogovac in central Kosovo and Srbica in northern Kosovo claimed to have witnessed threats, attacks, misuse of the votes of people living abroad and the deceased. The citizens noted that the media and those who had witnessed the irregularities need to keep silent, since they were exposed to constant threats. In some Kosovo's municipalities it is not easy to talk openly about electoral frauds due to widespread threats. In the municipalities of Glogovac, Dečani and Srbica, the elections will be repeated on January 9 on account of electoral frauds. Many political parties violated the election law even during the election campaign. For that reason, the Elections Complaints and Appeals Panel fined political parties EUR 330,000 in total. The Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), led by Hashim Thaci, had to pay the highest amount - EUR 123,400.
