PRIŠTINA -- Priština-based daily Koha Ditore criticized Serbian Deputy PM Božidar Đelić over his statement about Serbia’s fight for Kosovo during his visit to Prizren.
Noting that the Prišina authorities gave permission to Đelić to visit Kosovo on Christmas, the Albanian language daily states that the Serbian deputy PM had used his visit to Prizren to give a political statement following the liturgy in the St. George church and pointed out that Serbia would continue with the uncompromising fight for its territory. “This is not a day for politics, but one thing is certain - that Serbia's fight for Kosovo will continue. We wish to be a part of Europe, but Europe should also respect our identity and legitimate rights of our people everywhere, especially in Kosovo,” Đelić said, as reported by Koha Ditore. |
